kinda neat looking around on here and seeing names that I haven't seen in damn near 20 years. Recognized some of you guys/girls in the pictures. Some of you might remember me from Hopi, or maybe the first half of 7th grade at Ingleside.
Say hi if you have a minute!

ok, ok, ok. i know its mid january and no video yet. Sorry guys, its going to be another month. I had to move again this year and then i got sick as did everyone else. So this pushed me a month out with all my video projects. Sorry about the delay, but the video will be ready mid February.

As i was sitting down before seeing lion, witch, and wardrobe, a woman called from a distance away asking about the available seats in our row. I said, sure there open. As she came forward, who was this, but, barb henthorne. What a treat it was, to watch a movie with an old friend. I did scold her for not showing up at the reunion, but we had fun anyway that night. The video is in process guys and will be available in mid january.

Thanks to everyone who put this together. It is so great to have gone to school with such nice people. My husband and I haven't had fun like that since our wedding. It was one of my favorite nights (the parts I remember) :) Thanks again- Delanee

Great job to those who put it all together, especially Kate. Some of my favorite quotes from the evening:
My girlfriend: "You never told me you were in a band called Squirm! Squirm? Squish? What was it?"
Justin Ewers: "You totally lied to the cops. You fed them a whole story that was complete BS. How did you do that?"
Jeff Wentworth: "You mean you didn't really go to prison? I thought we had something in common, man."
Jason Roll: "Your ex-girlfriend got HOT."
Cory Thomas: "I wasn't there when you were driving through people's front yards."
Chris James: "I count their beans."

Thank you all for attending our reunion. It was so good to see so many of you. 92 of our former classmates attended the events along with many spouses, friends, children, and other guests. I wish I could have spoken to some of you that I didn't get a chance to visit with. We'll have to do this again. I didn't take a single picture the entire evening... so PLEASE send me pictures to post to the website. Email them to arcadiahigh1995@yahoo.com. Thank you for your support and kind words. We have the greatest graduating class I've ever heard of. :)

What a night it was, its like we woke up after a 10 year nap and telling each other what we dreamed about. It was amazing seeing and hearing what people had done and were doing today. I couldn't resist but videotape the events last night. Since I work in retail I couldn't go out afterwards, this is thanksgiving weekend by the way(i still have no voice this morning). I have to admit that I couldn't recognize Mike Lasota at first until 2 min. into our conversation and I had to ask Nicole Tubbs who she was and also Jennifer Callebaut (i hope i spelled that right). I must be getting old or something. I'm thankful that the video played right for everyone, I really love you all. Brian Stone and his band were great and then the dj was awesome too. What a family we were there, all differences put aside, I didn't want the night to end. Let's help out with this website so that in 10 years we can party like rockstars all over again. Special thanks to Kate Cupps, Carly Smith, Cory Thomas, and Emma Harty for all there hardwork last night. John Heffner where were you!! I will do my best to get the reunion video ready to go after the holidays, Merry Christmas everyone.

Looks like I won't be there after all after all this planning on going for the last few months...sorry... Apparently the Romanians who kidnapped my credit card number (see my last post) - or more accurately the post office gremlins - have kept me from getting my new one in the mail. Therefore can't pick up my rental car to drive down there, Greyhound just sucks, etc etc ... so sadly no travelling for me this weekend, I'll be here in Denver with my leftovers while everyone else is having a great time at the reunion this weekend.
Not sure if anyone will be reading this now that the reunion is almost here but anyway have a great time without me, don't get into too much trouble (especially if someone decides to "borrow" my open bar ticket haha), and if anyone is feeling a moment of friendliness and wants to say hi here's my email: krauseak@msn.com

It's done, it is finished all 52 min. (including the credits). I tried very hard to get everyone on there, most of you who are coming to the party are on the video, even stuck some shots of susan roberts and mr. barber in there. Lots of tommyboy and dumb and dumber too. Great songs from Collective Soul, Bob Marley, and of course AC/DC. See you all next weekend as we party like rockstars once again. Happy Thanksgiving

In that case I suppose I'll have to step in and be the resident geek photographer. Something I picked up just for fun in high school/college when I went on my many, many, many road trips and it went from there. Somehow I've managed to rise to selling privileges (so I'm told by friends/family/etc). Is geekness a progressive illness? Not only have I turned into Miss Photo Geek Colorado, it's progressed into web design too (I've got dozens of photos posted if anyone's really, REALLY bored and needs something to do).
In the meantime, speaking of technology (and putting off my reading for class)... here's Amanda's internet security tip for the day: If any of the likes of Paypal, Ebay and Amazon (or anyone else) sends you an email asking to verify your identity, don't click on the link that's given on the email. Otherwise evil Romanian hackers will take your password and subsequently take your credit card number. Now I'm waiting on a new card w/a new number but fortunately I didn't lose any money since bank security caught it as soon as they tried to use my card number. I'm glad it happened now rather than two weeks from now or I'd be seriously screwed when I went to pick up my rental car to drive down there for the reunion.
Anyway ... back to your regularly scheduled lives. :)
PS If it reassures Justin any, I am PRETTY SURE Cory isn't an evil Romanian hacker in disquise. :)

Just so you know, we don't ever see anyone's credit card info. It all goes through this company (myevent.com). We just get a check in the mail every once in a while.
Also, this website costs $10/month. With your support, we can maintain it for months... or even years. If you are able, we'd appreciate your support in maintaining the site for one month. Please find a place to donate $10 in the "Buy Tickets" section.
Thank you!

Excellent work on the website, my friends. Love the pop quiz (I got 9 out of 12, that's not bad, is it?), and the photos are fun. So moved was I by your efforts that I even took the leap of faith that is giving the likes of Cory Thomas my credit card information to pay for the picnic and party online. Dangerous, I know, but since it's reunion and all, I figure it's time to give the guy a second chance.

Ok guys, the video is about done, it consists of a mixture of about 20 songs, jesus jones, blind melon, ozzy ozborn, U2, Cranberries, beastie boys, garth brooks, and much more, along with 400 pics of all of you, a section for prom and alot of never before seen footage that I had shot for an Open House video that never showed, and a special sports section, and great shots of everyone flicking me off, for being such an obnoxious camera guy. Man, I can't believe how bad I was back then. So come to the reunion and see the "Titan Tuff Guys" Tim and Tom (Justin Ewers and Chris James) and reflect on the memories we shared 10 years ago. the New and improved 1995 Senior Video.

This website is great! It's wonderful to see what's going on with everyone from our Arcadia days. Unfortunately, my husband, Justin, and I won't be able to be at the reunion since our first child is supposed to arrive Nov. 16, here in Colorado Springs, CO. I'm hoping to get back in touch with old friends through the info on this website - thanks, Kate!! Hope you all have a great time!!

How weird ... Steve really does look like a hippie, I checked out his website. I wouldn't have recognized him in a million years. His band is going to be here in Denver on the 24th at some restaurant downtown, I'm tempted to go just to see if he remembers me since we always used to sit by each other in orchestra in junior high school. Hmmm. If I do go, I'll definitely have to get a picture and post it on here for those of you who knew/remember him.

I can believe it's been 10 years. I'm ready to retire. Bring on golf and drinking beer at ten in the morning.
I wanted to let everyone know that, while playing in various bands over the years, I came across someone you might remember named Steve Kessler. He was at Hopi with some of us. He currently plays in a band called Ten Mile Tide (www.tenmiletide.com) that tours all over the country. He looks like a hippy now, it's pretty funny if you remember him from the old days.
Looking forward to seeing you.

It's nuts that I've got two months to finish the reunion video. It's funny seeing all these old faces and hearing the fight song. I can't believe how fast 10 years went by. Gosh I'm almost 30. I still haven't given some of you your pictures back from project graduation. I'll have them at the reunion. Dvd's will be available.
