Do you know what's happening at Arcadia today?
Arcadia High School is being torn down and rebuilt over three years as part of a $217 million construction bond that will rebuild four of the district's five high schools. Rebuilding Arcadia will cost an estimated $43.7 million. Over the past few months the auditorium, Building 400, parking lot and tennis courts were torn down and the west gym was converted into 12 classrooms. Concrete has been poured for the new tennis courts, and construction of the arts and science classrooms begins this month.
